OUR STORY
The Chêneoak journey began over 10 years ago when we partnered with the Pierre family sawmill in the Burgundy region of France. As purveyors of quality, we made it our mission to find an exquisite product previously unseen in Australia. And our journey took us all the way to Europe.
A family business for 70 years, the Pierre family have dedicated their lives to the protection and ethical cultivation of the 200+-year-old French Oak trees in their care. Their passion for preserving the tradition of centuries-old woodmen practices combined with their commitment to providing incredibly high-calibre timber has lead them to being able to provide a superior product with excellence and distinction at its core.

Our French Oak is unlike anything else in the Australian market. Sourced from a single origin, Burgundy, France, we can guarantee quality and consistency. Our solid French Oak floorboards are milled using traditional techniques using oak cultivated for over 200 years.

YOUR BESPOKE EXPERIENCE
Our beautiful French Oak Flooring is custom designed to suit your space. Our 220mm French Oak floorboards can be provided in long lengths up to 2.5m. Natural French Oak looks incredible in any room but we've also developed 6 exclusive hardwax finishes to suit your personal style and enhance the boards' natural character.
We also offer Cheneoak Chevron parquet flooring. This consists of wood planks cut on a 35-degree angle and positioned in a V-shaped zigzag pattern, and aligned for a perfectly straight axis. This technique is perfect for revealing the natural beauty of the wood.
Our signature 35-degree technique makes the rows a little wider than the 45-degree angle, and it also affects the light/dark appearance of the rows.
The Cheneoak single-origin French oak parquet blocks are milled to produce a 35-degree angle in a 720 x 90 x 20mm contemporary look.
More than just luxury flooring, Chêneoak can supply skirting, staircases and cladding. We also have a range of fully customisable French Oak furniture too.

Crafted from 200-year-old wood, our natural golden genuine French Oak Flooring is a rare and charming product.
Praised for its tannin content, our French Oak reacts beautifully to custom colouring with our exclusive hardwax finishes, yielding colours that are not usually possible to achieve with other products.
Our French Oak is a tight grain pattern sawn in a centre-sawn fashion yielding planks with beautiful "cathedral" grain in the centre of each plank, and straight grain on the edges of the planks.
